Thanks for the survey responses everyone. I will turn the survey off next time I log into Qualtrics.
FYI key findings for a home automation system were that people most valued ease of use, lifestyle benefits and remote access. Cost was also a key concern.
Branding of such system was not rated as important at all, which was interesting. I think this is a reflection that the home automation industry is still in its infancy and that there is no clear market leader or reputable brand operating in this space, yet.
